Completion of the Stewardship Campaign for the 2022 Budget
Dear Members and Friends of Chapel in the Pines,
You have been Called to Connect during a challenging time for so many and have responded, again, with tremendous generosity to support our church and its mission!
We are excited to announce that we have exceeded our goal of $418,000 for our Stewardship Campaign for the 2022 Budget. We have received, to date, 106 pledges totaling $432,396.
These gifts will position CITP in 2022 to support our current staff, add new staff to work with youth, enable us to continue to have two services each Sunday to accommodate the needs of our members, support new initiatives to address homelessness in Chatham County, continue to keep our buildings, grounds, technology, and other assets well maintained, as well as to fund our ongoing mission and service work in the community and the world through involvement with The Farm at Penny Lane as well as helping Afghan families settle in Pittsboro.
In 1 Corinthians 12:26, Paul reminds the church at Corinth that they are members of one body, and as such, they suffer and rejoice together. Friends, we are one body in Christ and in CITP, and you have, yet again, demonstrated just that.
With great appreciation,
The CITP Stewardship Committee
Cynthia Hilliard and Tom Crosby, co-chairs
David Jester, Chuck Rickard, Terry Rudolph, Andrew Taylor-Troutman, Sarah Thomson
