Meet our Newest Members

Sara Botelho currently lives in Durham with her dog Milly, though she is originally from Raleigh. Sara is a true product of NC public schools, having attended them for elementary, middle, and high schools as well as completing an undergraduate degree at UNC-Chapel Hill and graduate degrees from ECU and UNC-Wilmington. She then shaped that upbringing into her career, going from an English and Theatre teacher in Jacksonville, NC, to being an Instructional Coach at Chapel Hill High School. Sara has actually been singing in the CITP choir for over 3 years while being a member of another church, but just couldn’t resist the pull of the community and is happy to call Chapel in the Pines her new spiritual home. Sara’s fun facts: she has a “healthy obsession” with ladybugs, loves sci-fi and action movies, and hates to cook but enjoy baking.
