Who We Are

Chapel in the Pines Presbyterian Church serves the North Chatham County area as part of the greater Presbyterian church. Our ministry welcomes all who profess faith in Jesus Christ, of every gender, race, ethnic origin, worldly condition, sexual orientation, ability, or any other human condition. We are a safe place to grow in faith together and to serve the community through the love of Christ.

Our Mission

We welcome all
people
into our community of faith.

We worship
God with gratitude
for the grace given to all people
through Jesus
Christ.

We
witness the love of Christ
through our gifts of time, talents, and
resources
as we grow together in faith.

Our Values

“We humbly acknowledge that we occupy the sacred homelands of Indigenous Americans — the Eno and the Shakori of the Adshusheer Nation and the Sissipahaw, the Tutelo, and the Occaneechi Band of the Saponi Nation. While we are on these Indigenous Peoples’ ancestral homelands, we endeavor to treat the land and rivers with the respect, love, and care that their Ancestors did and as Indigenous Americans do today. Let this acknowledgment serve as an ongoing reminder of our collective stewardship and our respect for the earlier inhabitants of the land where we reside and worship.”
