I’m excited to announce a poetry workshop on Thursday, March 5, in collaboration with our friends at The Local Church. We will gather at 6:30 at Chapel in the Pines and end by 8:00 P.M.
Other churches and communities of faith are welcome!
The goal is to write together using prompts and meditations I have gathered from years of workshops. We are gathering around the themes of Lent—confession, wilderness, temptation, and more—but the poems do not have to be Christian. There’s nothing that they “have” to be!
However, if authors are willing, we’d like to compile selections of people’s work into a collection to be shared among the churches and friends around Easter.
Let me be clear that there is no requirement of producing a poem to be shared with anyone, including in a collection. The workshop is for us to write and dream together.
I can also have a hybrid option available through Zoom. Just let me know!
