A Prayer for My Neighbors
by Maggie Ford
by Maggie Ford
Whether or not we know each other, whether or not we see each other, you are my neighbors.
You are in my prayers when life is good and when life is not so good.
I pray for you during periods of joy and when you need help with the weight of your burden.
I pray for your good health and happiness and when you are suffering from sorrow or pain.
I pray for you when you are confident and secure and when you are worried or in doubt.
We stand together in body or in spirit
A neighborhood of love
A family of faith
Come neighbor, let’s give thanks for our blessings.
Let us lift up those in need, let us always show compassion towards our neighbors as well as strangers.
Bless you my neighbors. May peace be with each of you.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. -John 14:27
