I’m learning how to make pop-up cards for friends and family

Sara Botelho shared this pic of our choir gathering via Zoom – she emailed “It was so lovely to see their beautiful faces for a choir meeting”.

Dear Friends,

Reflecting on Vance Stiles message for this week and how he talked about the table he was making/creating during his time sheltering at home. I imagine lots of people are creating/crafting more these days – preparing home cooked meals, making worship videos, sewing face masks, making beautiful banners, pop-up cards and palm pictures for Sunday.

Your pastor, staff and committee chairs are coming up with creative ways to communicate with each other and the congregation :).  Jan Rickard shared a picture (see above) of washable face masks she’s been busy sewing. Vicky Raymond and two friends answered Keith Glidewell’s call for folks to sew masks for the young women at the Youth Development Center in Siler City.  Elizabeth Melton and the Youth Group created the beautiful banners (see above) that now hang in the sanctuary. What are some projects you’ve been working on?

Again, I hope these pictures, shared by members of Chapel in the Pines, bring smiles to your hearts and faces.  Please share any pictures you take as you shelter at home.  You can email them to me at nmorelli@citppc.org.

May you be safe, may you feel loved, may you feel peace, may you find time to create, may you find time to rest…namaste.

Monster hugs,
Nana (office manager)
