New Sunday Morning Class in March

From 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. in the Hall for All for the 5 Sundays in March 2020, you are invited to participate in a study of Raising Cain: Protecting the Emotional Life of Boys. In this best-selling book, two child psychologists share their experiences from thirty-five years of working with boys. Their basic question: What do boys need that they’re not getting? This is also a question of faith and a charge to the church.

This class is open to all adults, whether you have sons or not. The class will be team taught by Jennifer Larson and Andrew Taylor-Troutman. The goal is to address the emotional miseducation of boys and also create a community of support as we navigate the social pressures our society places upon our youth. What can the church give boys that they most need?
