Lenten Study
Finding Ourselves in the Story of Race
A Lenten Study
Sunday evenings, March 10-April 14
Class from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Supper from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m.
The season of Lent offers an opportunity for reflection and introspection. Building on conversations ignited by the Racial Equity Performance Series in February, you are invited to continue finding yourself in the story of race through a 6-session discussion series.
Adults meet in the fellowship hall for discussions facilitated by the Rev. Ginny Taylor-Troutman and the Rev. Mickey dePrater.
Youth meet in the older children’s Godly Play classroom for activities led by the Rev. Andrew Taylor-Troutman and Joelle Brummitt-Yale (Director of Youth and Children’s Ministries).
Children, ages 4-9, are invited to participate in the children’s choir which will meet in the church sanctuary. Sarah McCormack and Sarah Graham will lead.
Nursery care will be available in the church nursery for children from birth to age 4.
All are invited to stay for dinner in the fellowship hall following class.
