Attending: Elders Lynne Hoerter (Acting Clerk), Tina Stark, Bob Warren, Jerry Wehmueller and the Rev. Mindy Douglas (Moderator)

Guests: Judy Benson, Susan Feinberg, Antonine Sharpless, and George Tietz

 

The meeting was called to order by Mindy Douglas at 9:15 a.m. and opened with prayer. A quorum was present. Lynne Hoerter was elected by common consent to serve as Acting Clerk for the meeting.  Rev. Douglas stated the purpose of the meeting was to receive Judy Benson, Susan Feinberg, Antonine Sharpless and George Tietz as members. Those present introduced themselves. Mindy reviewed materials in the new member packet and provided an opportunity for questions. Rev. Douglas also explained the service of baptism for Antonine.

Tina Stark moved that Judy Benson be received into membership by reaffirmation of faith and transfer of letter from Westminister Presbyterian Church, Buffalo, NY; that Susan Feinberg be received into membership by reaffirmation of faith and transfer of letter from University Methodist Church, Chapel Hill, NC; that Antonine Sharpless be received into membership by baptism and that George Tietz be received into membership by reaffirmation of faith. The motion was seconded by Bob Warren and joyfully passed.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:45 a.m.
