Congregational Meeting Minutes

February 23, 2014

Following worship, Pastor Mindy Douglas called the meeting to order. Mary Donna Pond was elected as clerk.  She announced that a quorum was present and also stated that the meeting would serve as the Annual Meeting of the Corporation.

The annual report for 2013, which had been previously emailed and was posted on the church website, was reviewed.  A few printed copies were available. The report included committee reports, staff reports, a list of new members and a financial report.

The floor was opened for questions and/or comments.  Mindy recognized the Elders and Deacons who were present.

Mindy thanked Nana Morelli, Office Manger, for compiling the annual report and acknowledged the use of photographs. It was moved and seconded that the congregation receive the report.

Mindy announced there would be another Congregational Meeting on March 9 for the purpose of receiving the report of the Nominating Committee and electing officers.  She thanked Michelle Morehouse, chair of the Nominating Committee, and the others serving on that committee for their good work.

There was a motion to adjourn.  The meeting ended in prayer.
